Why do I always seem to make my life more complicated?
I bought a Tenor sax thinking I might like to play it again. I had such good musical results just before I decided to move here at the Lodge. My last two and a half years here I bought brass instruments, clarinets, saxophones, guitars, basses, wind controllers etc. I gave almost all of them away for free. This last year 2023 I’ve bought an alto sax and tenor sax, I’ve decided to play alto but to be sure alto was the right sax for me I had to buy a tenor and now it sits in its case.
I do well most of the time with my alto so I’m very glad for that. I’m trying to sell my new tenor but $3,000 no one wants to pay. It’s brand new and I paid $4,200 for it but still no one want’s to buy it so far. I’ve even had stupid thoughts of trading it in for a soprano. I’ve for the last three months started playing piano again and it’s going well, so why have I bought a violin to complicate things? The violin I bought is a beginner’s model so I haven’t spent a lot of money on it. After ten years of not playing and then getting the violin and bow out again I realize I should wait until my next life to try to play this instrument again. There is just too much involved in violin playing, and at my age I just don’t think I have the patience for it.
So I spent $169.00 to find out. I am really crazy aren’t I?
